2008 at Brentwood School
Simply the best all around summer camp experience in Gainesville.
There are two components of Brentwood’s Summer Program to offer you a choice of recreational and academic activities. These offerings can be attended separately or combined to form unique experiences. They are:
BRENTWOOD SUMMER FUN: Experience the Brentwood SUMMER FUN difference. Our children enjoy a quality, calm, cool camp with low ratios and adult, professional staff. Academic activities and play blend easily as children experience art, music, sports, crafts, science, literature, swimming and more. Divided by ages, four to eleven, children enjoy bright, well-equipped classrooms and large, shaded playgrounds.
BRENTWOOD TUTORING CLINIC: One-to-one tutoring programs are individually designed for any subject. Length of session, sessions per week, and time of day are planned to meet your child’s needs, and your schedule.

Summer
Registration
It will be exciting to help you plan a summer to meet the specific needs of your child. Review the various choices and return the registration form appropriately filled in with your deposit. Please call the office with any questions. To assure quality programs, all classes have limited enrollment and will be enrolled on a first come basis.

THE
CAMP DAY
- Summer
Fun opens at 7:30 a.m.
and closes at 5:30
p.m.
- Morning-only
campers must be picked
up at 12:30 p.m.
TUTORING
- Tutoring is $32.00 per hour.
- Tutoring sessions are scheduled 2 to 5 times per week for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Tutoring plans can cover any subject and are individually designed and taught by a qualified teacher.
LUNCHES
- Brentwood provides a morning and afternoon snack.
- Children staying past 12:30 p.m. will need to bring a lunch with drink.
- Catered lunches are available for $3.50 (small) or $4.00 (large).
- Arrangements for this special catered lunch should be made through the office.

An Island Adventure
Sail away with us to the islands! On our trip we will create sand pictures, follow treasure maps, encounter sea creatures, and play water games. Come search for seashells with us on Brentwood Beach!

2: June
16 - June 20
Marvelous Masterpieces
Discover the artist in you! Campers will paint, create collages, build handmade instruments, put on plays and maybe even learn a new dance. There will be an art show at the end of the week!

3: June
23 - June 27
Ultimate Iron Chef
We'll explore cooking in a whole new way! There are chef hats to design, fruit totem poles to build, and sculpting dough to create with. We will eat and have fun with food all while promoting good nutrition. |

4: June 30 - July 3
Patriotic Pride
Brentwood celebrates the birth of our nation in typical red, white and blue style! What would you do if you were president? Patriotic crafts, games, and a mock election. |
Week
5: July
7 - July 11
This Land Is Our Land
Take a trip with us on Route 66! Our journey across America will focus on famous landmarks, National Parks, and discovering new places to visit. Folkstales and patriotic songs will also be highlights. |

6: July
14 - July 18
Light The Torch
Faster, higher, stronger! Enjoy Olympic games while learning about teamwork, healthy competition, and athleticism. Crawl, throw, and race as you strive for the gold! |
