The Curriculum

Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, form the core of our curriculum. Specialists in Art, Music, Physical Education, Computer Science, Spanish and Library Skills complete the learning experience.

Kindergarten is a benchmark experience in a child’s educational life. It connects a student’s pre-school foundation-building experiences to the more paper/pencil skill based elementary years. At Brentwood Kindergarten is still social and playful but we will add daily, small group, individually paced reading and math sessions to your child’s day. Specialists continue classes in Physical Education, Music, Library and Spanish, and beginning in Kindergarten we add regular Computer Programming classes to the curriculum.
