Grade One

Moving from centers to desks and chairs give first graders a grown-up feeling and add to their sense of organization. Now we start the journey of honing the reading, writing, and math skills with daily, small group lessons. Children are more verbal and expand their confidence with more oral presentations and class discussions. This is a lively, fun-loving year and, oh yes, we lose our front teeth. In addition to the two classroom teachers, specialists teach Technology, Spanish, Music, Physical Education, Library Skills and Art.

Hours of Operation

9:00 am to 2:45 pm

Extended care (Playgroup) is quality before and after school care available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Contracts are not necessary. Use as needed and pay monthly.
